Become a Puppy Raiser

Becoming a volunteer puppy raiser for Canine Companions is a life-changing way to give back. Puppy raisers provide love, structure, and socialization to puppies destined to become service dogs for people with disabilities.

As a puppy raiser, you’ll help teach basic skills, attend training classes, and provide a safe, nurturing home—all with guidance from Canine Companions. Your time and care lay the foundation for a future service dog’s success.

Become a Trustee

Trustees play a vital role in advocating for Lions Project for Canine Companions and inspiring Lions Clubs across the country to support the life-changing work of Canine Companions.

As a Trustee, you’ll represent your region and serve as a key liaison between the Lions community and our national mission. You’ll have the opportunity to meet with local Lions Clubs to share the powerful stories and impact of Canine Companions’ expertly trained service dogs.

You will help educate fellow Lions on how they can get involved through fundraising, volunteering, and spreading awareness.

This is more than a volunteer position—it’s a chance to be part of a national network of passionate Lions working together to promote independence and transform lives through service dogs.
